The Specialized Surgical Hospital in Idlib welcomed a delegation from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) today as part of a field visit aimed at reviewing the medical services provided and the mechanisms of their implementation. The delegation was received by members of SEMA’s administrative staff alongside the hospital management team.

The visit included a tour of the hospital’s various departments and facilities, where the delegation was introduced to the nature of the services provided and discussed the most pressing needs. They also reviewed the workflow and potential challenges in order to contribute to enhancing service quality and addressing any obstacles.

During the visit, Ms. Itizaz Youssef, Country Director of the International Rescue Committee in Syria, expressed her appreciation for the level of services provided, noting that operations are being carried out with high efficiency and that the hospital delivers distinguished medical care.

At the conclusion of the visit, Ms. Youssef emphasized the importance of the ongoing partnership with SEMA, expressing her hope for continued cooperation in the coming phase and commending the efforts of all hospital staff for their outstanding professional performance.
