SEMA is committed, through its human resources policy, to creating a professional, supportive, and inclusive work environment for all employees. This policy establishes the principles and guidelines that govern the relationship between the employee and the employer.
SEMA also ensures that its new and current employees are informed of their rights, duties, responsibilities, and understand them, while ensuring their compliance. In this regard, SEMA has prepared an informative guide in compliance with Turkish Labor Law No. 4857 and professional standards. Turkish law and all regulations issued by the Turkish government serve as a reference for employee relationships in Turkey, while the fundamental treaty of the International Labour Organization serves as a reference for Syrian employees. Similarly, the prevailing laws in any country serve as a reference for SEMA employees in that country.
In the absence of a legal provision in a particular country or a binding treaty on labor issues, SEMA’s human resources policy becomes the guiding document in such cases. In case of a conflict between the law and the policy guide, the local law takes precedence.
The human resources policy serves as a guide for employees, managers, and the organization as a whole. By adhering to its principles, the policy aims to create a positive work environment that attracts talented individuals who contribute to the organization’s mission and success, while retaining and developing them.
