Al-Ikhaa Maternity and Children’s Hospital has completed maintenance and renovation work on its hospital departments, leading to a new beginning for the hospital starting this month. After a three-month closure, the hospital will resume providing medical services.
The recent development and maintenance operations at the hospital are expected to have a positive impact on the comfort of patients, their children, and provide them with an enhanced treatment experience.
The hospital offers its services to women and children around the clock, with approximately 7,000 beneficiaries per month. The range of services provided to women includes natural and cesarean deliveries, as well as other gynecological surgeries. A dedicated wing has been allocated for admitted children, along with a specialized unit for neonatal care. The hospital also has a clinic specifically for managing cases of malnutrition in children.
Periodically, the hospital receives referrals from other medical facilities to save the lives of newborns and infants, thanks to the modern equipment available in the incubation and neonatal unit, as well as the high professional capabilities of the hospital staff and their continuous collaboration with specialized doctors outside of Syria.
