SEMA, the Medical Association for Syrian Expatriates, distributed 6000 packs of pure drinking water to the victims of the earthquake residing in the Karkhan camp in the Hatay region of southern Turkey.
Each family received a share of 10 sealed packs due to the urgent need for clean drinking water in the camp.
The Turkish Red Crescent participated in the distribution process and expressed gratitude for this initiative, which included both Turkish citizens and Syrian refugees.
The shortage of drinking water poses a crisis for the earthquake victims, leading to various diseases, especially affecting children and the elderly.
