While malnutrition is life-threatening, neglecting this condition is equally dangerous as the disease itself, as seen in the case of one-year-old Mohammed Sbahieh. He suffered from severe mixed malnutrition, and his family continuously refused to take him to the hospital until his condition deteriorated, and edema spread throughout his body, starting from his feet.
Continuous and urgent care, along with providing him with F100 milk, was crucial in saving the child’s life. He entered a coma for hours before his treatment was completed, and by the grace of God and the exceptional care provided by the hospital team, he recovered.
Your support enables us to operate the mobile teams that track malnutrition cases and raise awareness about it in camps and displacement areas.
Thank you to everyone contributing to reducing diseases caused by malnutrition and helping our little ones regain their health.
