What’s the problem?
The medical sector in northern Syria has been suffering from a severe depletion of qualified human resources for more than a decade now.
The immigration rate in the medical sector reached more than 70%.
Which created a large gap in parallel with the high need as a result of war and natural disasters.
Our goal!
Through our campaign, we aim to train more people to be qualified to provide medical services, thus bridging the gap in hospitals, intensive care units, and various medical centers, from primary health care centers to cholera and dialysis centers, among others.
What have we achieved?
SEMA supported the Qah Academy of Health Sciences and graduated a large number of caregivers. In addition to the opening of nursing courses at the SEMA Center for Vocational Health Education in Afrin, As well as concluding agreements to train a number of doctors within the Turkish Beyazit University’s master’s program in the field of public health policies.
