We invite you to participate with us in this campaign that aims to reach the largest possible number of children suffering from acute or moderate malnutrition in northern Syria.
The problem is bigger than malnutrition.
Studies issued by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) indicate that malnourished children are 11 times more likely to die than their well-nourished peers, and this is what we are working to confront.
In solidarity, we make a difference in the lives of these children.
What did we offer?
SEMA Primary health care centers and child-friendly centers track malnutrition in camps and homes in our areas of operation.
We provide them with awareness sessions, tests, nutritional supplements, follow-up treatment, and in some cases, we provide admission and hospitalization.
We are proud to treat many advanced cases of malnutrition in northern Syria.
What are we aiming for?
Through our campaign, we aim to provide more nutritional supplements, infant formula, and MOAC test strips, as well as double the efforts and numbers of community health teams in order to reach more children who suffer from malnutrition in northern Syria.
