SEMA distributes 250 cash vouchers as aid to the most vulnerable families.
At SEMA, we are committed to providing cash assistance to the most socially affected groups. Yesterday, SEMAdistributed 250 cash aid vouchers worth $150 each through the Basmat Center in the Sharan region.
SEMA targeted the most vulnerable families, such as those led by women, those hosting a person with special needs, or individuals with critical medical conditions, including pregnant and lactating women. Additionally, SEMA focused on families with a large number of members, those classified as living in extreme poverty, households headed by elderly individuals, families under the threat of violence, and recently displaced families.
SEMA provides this cash assistance periodically as the most effective way to offer humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable groups, ensuring people’s freedom, dignity, and independence in determining their recovery path.
