From a simple eye clinic to a fully equipped department with the latest devices, this is how the ophthalmology department at the Specialized Surgical Hospital in Idlib has evolved, with continuous support from the Medical Association for Syrian Expatriates “SEMA”.
Today, the department is capable of performing ophthalmic surgeries for newborns to the elderly, including a diverse range of precise surgical procedures.
