To achieve the best level of coordination among humanitarian workers in northern Syria on one hand, and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on the other, “Sema” organized two meetings between humanitarian actors and representatives of the OCHA office in the city of al-Bab this week.
The first meeting was held for the Local Coordination Group (LCG) to follow up on the latest updates regarding humanitarian contact points across all sectors.
The second meeting was dedicated to workers in the protection sector; it was the first in-person meeting of the protection cluster with contact officials in eastern Aleppo.
These meetings aim to enhance communication channels between field workers and officials at the United Nations office to discuss challenges, needs, and direct communication with the UN contact officials.
