Two teams from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) conducted a field tour of several hospitals in northern Syria.
The Sema-supported Ariha Hospital for Women and Children was on the schedule for this field tour.
The UN team was briefed on the medical services provided at the hospital and discussed how to optimize their delivery.
The team also met with patients, discussed their most important needs, listened to their experiences, and evaluated the services provided to them by medical institutions in northwest Syria in general.
