Roles and responsibilities

• Patient assessment: Assessing patients who come to the clinic or hospital, analyzing their health condition, collecting necessary medical information, and conducting required examinations for diagnosis.
• Treatment planning: Developing an appropriate treatment plan for patients based on your diagnosis and available information, prescribing appropriate medications, and identifying necessary medical procedures.
• Progress monitoring: Monitoring patients’ progress during the treatment period, evaluating their response, and modifying the treatment plan as needed. Referring patients for additional tests or consultations with other specialists when necessary.
• Patient guidance and education: Guiding patients regarding their suitable treatment options and providing medical advice. Explaining health conditions and providing necessary information for maintaining their well-being.
• Collaboration with the healthcare team: Collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other medical technicians as a team to provide comprehensive and effective healthcare to patients. Sharing information and guidance with the team, contributing to improving the quality of care.
• Documentation and record-keeping: Accurately and systematically documenting all details and medical reports related to patients and maintaining medical records.
• Prescribing necessary medications or medical investigations for patients.
• Conducting necessary medical follow-ups for patients visiting the clinic.
• Informing the project manager or data entry personnel about any detected cases that require reporting or alerting.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Medicine.
• Specialization in Internal Medicine: Should have completed an advanced specialization in Internal Medicine or be a resident in the final years of training.
• Minimum of two years of experience in specialized medical work.
• Possession of a valid medical license to practice Internal Medicine.
• Highly proficient in communication skills.
• Good level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs.
• Good level of proficiency in the English language.
• Flexibility, positivity, and professionalism in dealing with others.
• Commitment to goals, principles, and values.
• Communication and interaction skills: The internal medicine physician should have strong communication skills to interact with patients, medical colleagues, and other healthcare team members. They should be able to communicate effectively, clearly, and handle emergency situations.
• Ability to adapt and handle work pressure.
