Roles and responsibilities

• Receive patients with courtesy and provide them with appropriate care and support.
• Provide nursing care to patients (vital signsblood sampling if necessary, weight, and measurement).
• Provide health education to patients according to their medical condition.
• Document on the approved forms for each clinic patient.
• Archive forms and records and organize work within the clinic.
• Prepare a patient card for each visitor and educate them on the importance of keeping the card for future visits.
• Maintain the safety of the clinic’s tools and equipment.
• Evaluate patients’ condition and collect necessary medical and nutritional information.
• Develop and implement appropriate healthcare and nutritional plans for each patient.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on proper nutrition and personal care methods.
• Monitor patients’ progress and evaluate their response to treatment and nutrition.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, such as doctors, nurses, and nutrition counselors, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Document medical and nutritional information for patients accurately and professionally.
• Participate in research and studies related to malnutrition and therapeutic nutrition.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy for each patient.
• Work with a team spirit, handle work pressure, communicate effectively with patients, and have problem-solving skills.
• Comply with medical waste sorting and infection control policies according to approved protocols and recommendations from the infection control department of the organization.
• Perform tasks assigned by the direct supervisor in the work field.

Required qualifications and experience

• Holds a degree (nursing college, medical institute, health institute, or nursing school) and is licensed to practice the profession.
• Minimum of two years of work experience in the same field.
• Possesses the necessary knowledge and experience in the patient care program within the recovery wings.
• Possesses communication, learning, and positive interaction skills with the team.
• Intermediate level of English language proficiency.
• Committed to the organization’s objectives, principles, and values.
• Works with a team spirit, handles work pressure, and communicates effectively.
• Ability to evaluate risk factors.
• Ability to handle emergency cases.
