Roles and responsibilities
• Providing essential medications continuously and consistently at the health center and maintaining accurate records for them.
• Managing the pharmacy warehouse and accurately documenting the consumption of medications and any items in the warehouse.
• Ensuring the good condition of the medication storage area and pharmacy and verifying the expiration dates of medications.
• Explaining the usage of medications to patients and responding tactfully to their inquiries.
• Collaborating with the primary care team in the health education process regarding the use and misuse of medications.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the pharmacy and warehouse on an ongoing basis.
Required qualifications and experience
• Diploma from a medical institute specializing in pharmacy or a university degree in pharmacy.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the same field.
• Possession of a valid professional license.
• Experience in local and international pharmaceutical regulations would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of humanitarian principles.
• Practical experience in interacting with beneficiaries and possessing effective communication skills in dealing with them positively.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
• Good proficiency in the English language.
• Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and flexible and positive interpersonal skills, analytical skills, positive behavior, and problem-solving abilities.
