Roles and responsibilities

• Patient assessment: Assessing patients’ condition and monitoring signs of stability or deterioration. This requires a deep understanding of medical equipment and monitoring capabilities.
• Performing medical procedures: The critical care nurse performs advanced medical procedures such as artificial respiration, medication administration, fluid management, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Monitoring and rapid intervention: Continuously monitoring patients and observing indicators such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. In case of deterioration, providing rapid intervention and necessary actions.
• Education and guidance: Guiding and educating patients and their families about their health condition and the procedures being undertaken, providing emotional and cognitive support.
• Collaboration with the care team: Collaborating with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
• Documentation and record-keeping: Accurately documenting all data and interventions according to established standards and policies, monitoring reports and medical records.
• Participation in professional development: Participating in ongoing training, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge in advanced care.
• The critical care nurse must have excellent communication skills, the ability to handle emergency situations and work under pressure. They should have a high sense of responsibility and be capable of making quick and effective decisions. Application of general safety principles during work.
• Any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor within the scope of the job position.

Required qualifications and experience

• Nursing college, health science college, medical institute, healthcare institute, nursing school, or medical services school degree.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a recognized hospital.
• Acceptable level of English proficiency (writing, reading, and speaking) and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to work effectively and positively with a team.
• Ability to build positive relationships with others and interact effectively and diplomatically with everyone.
• Acceptable level of English language proficiency.
• Possess the skills of adaptability, responsibility, and reliability in the workplace.
• Ability to adapt to work conditions and effectively interact with different environments and cultures.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to the goals, principles, and values of the organization.
