Roles and responsibilities

• Patient preparation for radiographic imaging and supervision of radiographic procedures.
• Study and analysis of radiographic images, diagnosis, and writing radiographic reports.
• Data and report storage and documentation.
• Monitoring and developing quality systems and standards in diagnostic radiology.
• Preparation of technical reports.
• Managing and developing subordinate staff.
• Developing procedures and securing occupational safety, health, and public health requirements.
• Studying imaging requests received from the treating physician.
• Determining the required type of colored imaging and the required type of regular imaging.
• Inspection and operation of X-ray imaging equipment.
• Inspection and operation of magnetic resonance imaging equipment.
• Inspection and operation of computed tomography and ultrasound imaging equipment.
• Inspection and operation of interventional radiology equipment.
• Study of images and diagnosis.
• Writing and preparing the radiological examination report.
• Saving and documenting the imaging report results.
• Performing any other tasks assigned within their specialization.

Required qualifications and experience

• Medical degree in the specialization.
• License to practice medicine in the specialization.
• Readiness to handle critical and emergency cases at all times.
• Good level of clinical knowledge.
• Good proficiency in English language.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good familiarity with machines and tools used in radiographic examinations.
• Knowledge of medications and drugs used in radiological examinations and the ability to provide patient care in case of any complications.
• Good organizational skills to handle complex information and confidential data.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle various situations.
• Effective and positive teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate complex medical information in a simplified manner to patients with limited medical knowledge.
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients and interact effectively and diplomatically with everyone.
• Responsibility and reliability in work.
• Knowledge of medical ethics and principles.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
